Guitar Happy Place

Just Purring - the unimaginative alter ego of Justin Purrington, a British indie-rock songwriter. Justin was known as JP at work to disambiguate him from colleagues with the same name. Those justin-come-latelys joined after him so, rightly, he should have had first dibs on the prize; however, he came to embrace the shortened form, finding lofty company with Gemma Collins, Top Cat and that guy from Eggheads. Just Purring - this new nom-de-guerre - restores nine of those lost letters.

He completed a Masters in Songwriting and Music Production in 2025. Leaving the third person (yes it was me all along), Songwriting has been a constant presence in my life, being both therapeutic and a head-wreck at times when the puzzle pieces won’t fit together. There’s vulnerability in sharing but it’s good to be vulnerable. And I really appreciate you taking time to listen.
